Artists or not the creators of these lunchboxes had one only thing in mind when handcrafting and decorating their masterpieces: hunger. And it’s very nice to see the affluent of the affluent among fashion, music, and culinary celebrity worlds are giving their part to help hunger relief through the world. Celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow, Beastie Boys, Mike Myers, Liv Tyler, and Ruth Reichl are among many who created their own lunchboxes to be auctioned at the Lunchbox Auction fundraising party in New York City this month. Proceeds from the event will go towards the Food Bank for New York City and the Lunchbox Fund, which helps feed impoverished children in South Africa. 
So how much is a lunchbox created by Lisa Marie Presley worth? We anticipate up to a few thousands of dollars for one of these lunch boxes, but hey, it’s all for a good cause. Not to mention these cameras ready personalities will sleep a little easier at night knowing their artwork went to feed the hungry in places similar to where Burger King’s been dangling their whoppers. In the spirit of the holidays, we’re glad to see the wealthy are finding creative ways to give back.
