Microsoft would like to take us back for once –waaaaay back, back to a time when computers didn’t enslave our lives as tightly as clocks do. We’ve taken a moment to imagine what that felt like, and yes a bit of nostalgia crept up around our memories.
Precisely the feeling Microsoft was going for, the software company is releasing limited edition t-shirts with vintage logos reminiscent of Microsoft’s baby days. Celebrity rapper Common will be endorsing the clothing line, which Microsoft’s says will help “showcase the DOS days of the software company that now connects over a billion people.” Taking us back in time through t-shirt reminders of where it all started isn’t a new idea by any means, lets just say Microsoft is late on the vintage time travel bandwagon. Fortunately, the t-shirts sell at $15 each so if you’re looking for a stocking stuffer –voila.
